OrganicAmi is dedicated to the collection and recycling of food residuals, creating sustainable kitchens by reducing the impact of food waste on municipal landfills, aging pipe infrastructures, and wastewater treatment facilities. OrganicAmi appliances, designed for both residential and commercial kitchens, de-water food residuals and package them in ASTM 6400 compostable non-GMO film, thereby facilitating the clean, odor-free redirection of waste for commercial composting, alternative energy, and similar environmentally sustainable uses.
Instead of sending food inside of recyclable to a dump or into the water supply, organic refuse and scraps can be wrapped in a bio-degradable, compostable film with convenience and ease using the organicAMI.
Organics travel to the dump inside of recyclables. Using minimal cleaning OrgAMI assists in ensuring recyclables reach their proper destination.

CURRENT PROBLEMS
Current collection of organic food refuse from industrial and residential kitchens puts the burden on the consumer. Whether collecting for residential or commercial use, organic refuse collection methods currently have significant issues of odor production and pest attraction.
LANDFILL AND WASTE ISSUES
Methane capture in municipal dumps is highly inefficient.
Firing of excess methane in capture facilities is an increasingly large environmental issue. Inaccuracy in projecting methane levels, production and movement make its capture a highly volatile situation and not a best use practice.
TRANSPORTATION ISSUES
By removing water from organic refuse prior to its packaging and transportation, the weight is greatly reduced which results in significant cost savings.
WATER
Is organic refuse good for the water supply? It is commonly agreed that adding organic refuse to septic tanks and water supply systems compromises their quality and ability to perform. Some sophisticated municipal systems do use organic refuse as a measured additive, which requires skill.
Those who collect food waste for composting.
Those who have septic tanks
Those who live in communities where food waste separation is the law.
Those institutions whose environmental impact has begun to weigh on the communities waste handling resources.
Those who want recyclables to be the only thing leaving their kitchens.
The lists of things that can be composted is amazingly long.
What cannot be recycled may not be appropriate for future use as our World’s Family continues to grow. By not macerating food, valuable nutrients (bods, cods, etc.) are not lost. At the same time those nutrients are not introduced into waterways as a complicating factor for waste water treatment plants.
